On June 10, 2017, the staff of Ivory Events had the pleasure of witnessing the union of Jared and Ashley. The couple chose to be wed at the Farmette, a charming, 7-acre farm just outside Lyons, Colorado. Selecting from the numerous ceremony sites on the property, Jared and Ashley opted for a riverside ceremony, complete with a stone walkway leading to the water’s edge. Because of the Farmette’s convenient set up, they were able to hold their reception only several yards away under an awe inspiring sailcloth tent. With everything from an Airstream bridal suite, an organic garden, and even baby alpacas, this venue is not only beautiful but also uniquely memorable.
In addition to the venue, Jared and Ashley’s day stands out because of the many thoughtful and unique details the couple thought to include. Being vigilant of their guests needs, the couple provided sunscreen and bug spray in a container adorably labeled, “Be Smitten, not Bitten.” They also chose to have a “guest globe” in place of a guest book. Each guest was able to sign his or her name on a globe that will be displayed in the couple’s home. Additionally, the two told guests the story of their love by hanging signs along the bridge that described important moments in their relationship. Starting from the first date and ending on the day of their wedding, these signs were a endearing way to share with guests the significant details of their beautiful relationship. 
Jared and Ashley made sure to treat their guests to some amazing food. Dining outside, guests got to not only enjoy their food but also witness the gorgeous mountain sunset view. Smoke Shack Barbeque provided a savory dinner and Sweet Thangs Bakery and Button Rock Bakery crafted not one but six phenomenal cakes. With six different flavors to choose from, there was a treat to satisfy every guest’s sweet tooth.
