Alex and Chad finally had their day in the sun after re-booking during the Covid-19 pandemic and celebrated their summer wedding day together with family and friends safely outside at Bella Vista Estate in Steamboat Springs, Colorado,
Just a three hour drive from the Denver metro area off of East US Highway 40, expansive Bella Vista Estate can house up to 28 overnight guests for a weekend of a lifetime. It has a day of ceremony capacity of up to 200 guests during peak season and 50 guests during shoulder season.
Eric and Abby became Bella Vista’s stewards in 2016, adding many personal touches to this incredible and vast property, making it a destination of choice for both destination weddings and locals in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Kira is the estate’s manager while Barry is Bella Vista’s property manager.
Bella Vista’s elevated but comfortable mountain retreat accommodations include the Lodge and two cottages with an overlook. The amenities within the 5,510 sq. ft, lodge include 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths and can sleep 12 guests. The lodge has a kitchen, a grotto, a wet bar with a kegerator, one game room with a pool table with family favorite arcade games, a living room with a fireplace, a great room for receiving guests, an outdoor grill and deck, complete with a laundry room. The lodge has many beautiful windows with stunning picturesque views of Pleasant Valley sunrises and sunsets.
The two cottages on Bella Vista estate contain 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 2 kitchens, and can sleep 8-10 guests. One of the cottages has a wood burning fireplace, while the lower cottage is perfect for seniors with easily accessible amenities and ADA accessible.
The Overlook is a separate space and sleeps 6-8 guests with three bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen, dining area and a living room complete with a wood burning fireplace and has a view of the heated pool.
Alex and Chad’s processional songs included “Whatever It Is” by Zac Brown Band and “Golden Hour” by Kacey Musgraves, before their bi-lingual ceremony with breathtaking Pleasant Valley views.
Bella Vista allows guests to bring in their own alcohol and the ability to work with licensed preferred vendors. Alex and Chad chose to have two signature “HIs and Hers” cocktails, an Old Fashioned and a Tequila and Soda with Grapefruit as well as a selection of beer for guests. A reception tent is available during peak season events from Memorial Day up until the end of summer season in September.
Alex and Chad enjoyed dancing the night away under the reception tent with their first song, “So Good”by Mason Jennings. The mother of the bride and mother of the groom baked special homemade treats for the wedding party and guests to enjoy after the ceremony instead of a traditional wedding cake, including chocolate chip cookies, arroz con leche, brownies, and Mexican cookies. Disposable cameras were set out on tables after dinner for guests to capture special moments together.
Diamond Empire Band’s last song of the night included “Sweet Child O’Mine by Guns N’ Roses.
