Alicia and Branden celebrated their love with family and friends in early fall last year at The Broadmoor’s Lakeside Terrace and Lakeside Terrace Dining Room. One of Colorado’s premiere luxury resorts, The Broadmoor in Colorado Spring has over 5,000 acres of pristine and exquisite lawns and terraces available from 20 to 1,000 guests with an additional 2,000 acres located at The Broadmoor Wilderness Experience properties for a more secluded and restful guest experience. Ceremony locations include the West Tower Lawn, the Fountain Room, the Lakeside Terrace, Cheyenne Lodge, Mountain View Terrace, the South Terrace, and the Pristine Chapel. Peak season rates start at $6000 for ceremony spaces, with a variety of dining and reception packages.
Alicia and bridesmaids also stayed at the Everest Cottage. The cottages at The Broadmoor range from one to eight bedrooms with heated floors in expansive bathrooms, complete with inviting high beam ceilings, warm fireplaces and picturesque verandas with views of Cheyenne Mountain and the East Golf Course.
Alicia and Brandon had their ceremony followed by a cocktail hour with guests on the Broadmoor’s Lakeside Terrace. The couple then celebrated with family and friends at their reception in the Lakeside Terrace Dining Room. Perfect for up to 250 guests, The Lakeside Terrace has stunning views of both Cheyenne Mountain with Cheyenne Lake. Alicia and Branden also decided to have their welcome dinner for guests at Donald Ross Room at The Broadmoor as well, complete with a s’mores station, a slider station, focaccia pizza, and Broadmoor farms crudites.
Receptions or after vow cocktails hours are held in the Lake Terrace Dining Room, the Main Ballroom, the Rocky Mountain Ballroom, the West Ballroom, the Cheyenne Lodge, the Donald Ross Room, or the Broadmoor Hall. With many size and pricing options, the Broadmoor stands above many venues in diversity and industry excellence as the longest running winner of the Forbes Travel Guide Five star awards as well as the AAA Five Diamond rating.
Alicia and Branden’s First dance song was “At Last” by Louis Armstrong. Known for its cuisine, dinner was plated with courses, including a Caprese salad, White Wine Marinated Atlantic Roasted Salmon, a Grilled Beef Tenderloin, and a Buddha Bowl. Their last dance after the bouquet toss and toasts was “Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole before their late snack for guests and an after party at the Broadmoor’s hotel bar.
