The Woodlands is located on 52 acres in Morrison Colorado, just 30 minutes from downtown Denver in the beautiful Rocky Mountain foothills with a classic but modern barn event venue. Owners, Janelle and Stephen Statham are always very involved and extremely helpful as they live on the property, so they are always just a text or a quick walk away. The Woodlands was also the venue of choice for 2020’s Big Fake Wedding Denver, a seamless and smooth professional partnership event we were so excited to help coordinate.
Secluded and surrounded by serene forest, it is a wedding photographer’s dream with wonderful light and many unique and perfect photographic spots. The Woodslands is a beautiful venue that has everything you could need, including a bridal suite, groom’s room, separate ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas, creating the perfect flow for guests. Although it is located in a rustic and secluded surrounding, the venue is heated for winter gatherings and has air-conditioning for the summer months.
There are so many added modern and stylish event features available at The Woodlands. A simple and modern barn, the inside of the reception area at The Woodlands is gorgeous, even with minimal decor. Specialized technology sparktacular fireworks options at this venue are also available, and are always safe to use during a fire ban. Event Rents is The Woodland’s exclusive provider of all event rental items (including china, glassware, flatware, and linens). All equipment rentals can be rented from Event Rents.
Because The Woodlands has large barn doors at the front and back of the venue, as well as all of their windows, this venue is able to host larger weddings during the Covid-19 pandemic as the health department categorized The Woodlands as an outdoor venue, due to how much air flow and number of open doors and windows available.
The Woodlands staff loves showing clients and potential clients around the venue. Guests can email The Woodlands to make an appointment for a tour at [email protected] or at 720-443-1796.
