On May 26, 2017, we had the immense pleasure of witnessing the marriage of Ali and Eric in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. Taking place at Ten Mile Station, the stunning mountain backdrop of this wedding was complimented by the rustic charm of an unforgettable venue. Despite snow earlier that day, the ceremony was able to take place outdoors thanks to the preparation and diligence of Ten Mile Station staff.
Ali and Eric were unique in that they utilized greenery, as opposed to flowers, for table centerpieces. Lining the length of every table, the greenery was paired with romantic votives and tapered candles, both of which added to the aesthetic and ambiance alike. Greenery was also used to adorn the welcome sign.
Created by Butterhorn Bakery, Ali and Eric’s wedding cake was both charming and delicious. A naked cake embellished with rosemary, the couple placed golden apples on top as a nod to their last name Applequist. They further incorporated their last name by using the hashtag #howboutthemapples as a way for guests to tag photos on social media. This is a great way to see the moments your guests capture throughout the day.
Elite Entertainment ensured the guests had an amazing time on the dance floor. Even guests who wore heels were able to dance the night away because Ali thought to provide everyone with a pair of flip flops to change into. Late in the evening hot pretzels and glow sticks were distributed, making for both happy guests and some awesome photos.
We were so honored to be a part of Ali and Eric’s special day! Despite a bit of snow, the day was truly phenomenal, and we wish them both all the best in their future life shared together.
