Black Belly is an incredible restaurant. Whether you’re looking for a girl’s night out or gourmet catering, service Black Belly does it all. When I first went to Black Belly for their open house, I was amazed by the stunning table setting and the environment as a whole. Black Belly surrounded the food with a fall themed decor. Which complemented the food magnificently. Good food can only truly be great if the dining environment is appealing and comfortable. Now for the food, I want to start with the bread and butter, this was no typical bread and butter! The butter was in a candle mold and as it melted you could spread it on your bread and top it off with some gourmet salt. They also served halved grapes surrounded by cheese and topped with pistachio clumblings.
After the open house I was so impressed with their service, food, and decor skills I planned a Ivory Events girls night out at Black Belly restaurant. Our waiter was fabulous, checking-in, getting the food out quickly and dealing with a 3-way split check, no problem. To drink I had a vinegar spritzer, although drinking vinegar did not sound appealing the drink was memorable, almost tasted like a Shirley Temple with an edge. For dinner we ordered a variety of appetizers and plates. The Mexican corn was my absolute favorite, corn on the cob with cotta cheese, lime and chili powder. For our main course we split pig’s ear, it was a perfect amount of crunchy and very flavorful, the best pig’s ear any of the girls had ever eaten. If your lookin for some good gourmet food and good people Black Belly is the place to go!
